BANGOR – Jeanette A. McKenna, 81, died May 22, 2005, at a local nursing home. She was born Sept. 12, 1923, in Orono, the daughter of Joseph and Irene (Carr) McKenna. Jeanette lived and worked in the Boston area for many years, retiring to Bangor and was very active in her Catholic faith. She is survived by one sister, May Eberhart of Bangor; four nephews, Richard McKenna, Earl, Richard and William Eberhart; three nieces, Linda Bushy, Joan Bowman and Sharon McNamara; and one sister-in-law, Madeline McKenna. She was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph, Freddy, John and Danny. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Greenlawn Funeral Directors, 300 State St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. John’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the family lot Riverside Cemetery, Orono.
