BILLERICA, Mass. – Jeannette B. Davis, 72, wife of Burton Davis Sr., died unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 23, 2006, at the Lahey Clinic, Burlington, Mass. She was born Dec. 1, 1933, in Bangor, a daughter of the late Wilfred Duprey Sr. and Idell (Jordan) Duprey. She lived in Bangor before moving to Billerica, Mass., in 1958. For 30 years, Mrs. Davis was the owner of the Lucerne Management Co., in Billerica, Mass. She was the former president of the Gridiron Mothers Club. She owned a cottage on Phillips Lake in Lucerne. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Burton Davis Jr. of Lucerne and William Davis of Nashua, N.H.; two daughters, Susan Musterer of Nashua, N.H., and Jill DellaPorta of Billerica, Mass.; two brothers, Wilfred Duprey of Florida and William Duprey of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Donna Keeney of Connecticut, Jackie Ober of Pennsylvania and Jill Desaulniers of Virginia; and 11 grandchildren, Joey, Dan, Meg, Reed, Bill Jr., Lisa and Ashley Davis, Danielle Musterer, Keith, Chad and Katia DellaPorta. Mrs. Davis was predeceased by her sister, Betty Day.
