ST. AGATHA – Jeannette Cyr Hebert Gagnon, 82, went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2004. She was born in Madawaska. She was the wife of the late Albert Hebert and is survived by her second husband, Albert Gagnon of Riviere Verte. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. Jeannette was the mother of 24 children, eight sons, Raoul and his wife, Joyce, Richard, Robert and his wife, Brenda, Raymond and his wife, Kate, Gerald and spouse, Brett, Danny and wife, Connie and Joel (deceased) and one still born child; 16 daughters, Marie Ange (deceased) Joanne and her husband, Albert Lachance, Jeannine and husband, Hank Cohoon, Pauline and husband, Michael Gilpin, Jacqueline and her husband, Pat Daigle, Adeline and her husband, Ron Osburn, Irene and her deceased husband, Claude Corriveau, Lorraine and her husband, John BonKowski, Linda and her husband, Fernando Delernia, Judy and husband, Lucien Deschaine, Nancy and husband, Joe Houle, Lise Hebert, Therese and husband, Tom Paradise, Donna and her husband, Carey Daigle, Tina and husband, Dave Ouellette, Susan and husband, Greg Martin. She also leaves to cherish her memory 47 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, one sister, Prescilla Coutoure; four brothers, Alderic and wife, Betty, Reed and wife Verna, Conrad, Donald and wife, Fern; five sisters-in-law, Rena, Therese and Viola Cyr, Adrienette Dube, Ernestine Tolisano; two brothers-in-law, Rene Hebert and wife, Lorette, Pat Hebert and wife, Charlotte. Jeannette was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who touched many lives. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Friends and relatives may call at the Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Agatha Catholic Church with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial will be in the St. Agatha Lower Cemetery.
