LENOX, Mass. – Jeannette Lillian Flynn, 90, of 40 Stockbridge Rd., died Saturday afternoon Sept. 24, 2005 at Springside of Pittsfield where she had resided for the past 18 months. Born May 1, 1915 in Bangor, the daughter of Ferd and Emma Ramsey Flagg. She attended schools in Bangor and was a 1933 graduate of Bangor High School. A resident of Lenox since 1958, Mrs. Flynn was employed as head cook at the former Berkshire Christian College, Lenox for 34 years. She was a member of Hope Church in Lenox. She enjoyed quilting and other craft work, reading cookbooks and preparing meals for large crowds of family and friends. Her husband, Joseph Flynn, whom she married Sept. 12, 1947, in Bangor, died in 1948. Mrs. Flynn is survived by her son, Brian Paul Flynn of Norridgewock; three sisters, Shirley Mack of Austell, Ga., Beverly Starr of Fords, N.J. and Jacqueline Massengill of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Paul Flagg of Milo and Phillip Flagg of Westfield, Mass.
