NEWPORT – Jeannette R. Cloutier, 81, died June 4, 2004, at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born May 10, 1923, at Lewiston, a daughter of Adolphe and Georgianna (Gamache) Roy. She was employed at M. S. Brooks & Sons in Chester, Conn., and moved to Newport, after retirement in 1989. She attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Newport. Jeannette was predeceased by her husband, Armand J. Cloutier, in 1979. She is survived by a son, Armand A. Cloutier of Newport; two daughters, Georgette Bouchard of Colchester, Conn., and Joanne Scrithfield of Ogdensburg, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Family visitation and services will be held Sunday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Newport, with the Rev. Father Emmanuel Iheaka officiating. Interment will be in Fountain Hill Cemetery, Deep River, Conn. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Main St., Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
