RIVIERE BLEU, Canada, and PORTAGE – Jeannine Yvette (St. Pierre) Gagne, formally of Portage Lake, passed away June 7, 2008, in the hospital at Notre Dame-Du-Lac, Canada, after complications from surgery. Jeannine was born Feb. 23, 1927, in Riviere Bleu, Canada, the daughter of Amede and Laura St. Pierre. Jeannine was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting and sewing. Jeannine leaves behind her loving husband of 55 years, Patrick Gagne; her son, Pierre Gagne and his wife, Carrie; her son, Bert Gagne and his wife, Debbi; her son, Marc Gagne and his wife, Eva; her daughter, Joanne (Gagne) Oneal and her husband, Walter; her grandchildren, Mathew Oneal, Shelly Oneal and Alan Hitchcock. She was predeceased by her son, Francis Gagne. She had 12 brothers, sisters, many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Riviere Bleu at the Catholic church.
