KENDUSKEAG, CORINTH and MAPLE SHADE, N.J. – Jeffrey Melton, 26, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 2, 2004, at a Bangor hospital, following a tragic auto accident. He was born May 14, 1977, in Marlton, N.J., son of James Melton and Marypatricia Page. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Alexis; his sister, Catherine; brother, Kyle; grandmother, Ellie Melton of Havelock, N.C.; grandmother, Ann McCologan of Darien, Conn.; grandparents, Ivon and Irene Gallant of Rumford; stepmother, Janice Melton; stepfather, Michael Page; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeff attended schools in New Jersey and Central High School in Corinth. He was a fun loving guy and will be missed by all his friends. His funeral was held May 5, 2004, in Kenduskeag.
