FORT KENT – Jessie Theirault, 89, died peacefully Feb. 8, 2005, sur-rounded by family at a Fort Kent hospital. He was born Feb. 26, 1915, in Fort Kent, the son of Octave and Elizabeth (Brasley) Theriault. Jessie is a past member of the Fort Kent VFW and a World War II Veteran in the U.S. Army. He was foreman for Great Northern Paper Inc., until his retirement at the age of 67, he was an avid outdoorsman. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mamie (Theriault) Theriault of Fort Kent; two daughters and their husbands, Bonita and Patrick Raymond, Ruth and Magella Bouchard, all of Fort Kent; one brother, Norman Theriault, of Norway, Maine; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters. Friends may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, in Fort Kent 7-9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday. A Mass of Christian Burial with full military honors will be celebrated 1 p.m. Saturday at the St. Louis Catholic Church with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Spring burial will be held in the parish cemetery May 18, 2005.
