KENDUSKEAG – Joan M. McKay, 66, died March 29, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Feb. 15, 1939, in Hampden, the daughter of Joseph and Annabelle (Jones) Chapman. Joan worked for 16 years at Emple Knitting Mills. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, John McKay of Kenduskeag; one brother, Robert Chapman of East Hampton, Conn.; two sisters, Carolyn Tardiff of Mechanicsville, Va., Shirley and her husband, Philip Small, of McDonough, Ga.; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Clayton Blackstone, pastor of the Bangor Advent Christian Church, officiating.
