MANCHESTER Conn. and ORONO – Joan Savage Wilson, 73, of Orono wife of the late Arthur E. Wilson died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at her daughter’s home in Manchester, Conn. She was born May 12, 1930, in Millinocket, daughter of the late Elwin L. Wilson and Dorothy Clarke Wilson and had lived in Orono for the previous 10 years before moving to Manchester in 2003. Joan is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Jack Keiper of Amhurst, N.H., Shirley and Steven Bruckner of Manchester, Conn., with whom she made her home, and Beverly and John Nylund of Meriden, Conn.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Earl, Charlie, and Everett; three sisters, Madeline, Doris and Annie; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sons, Jesse and George Wilson; a brother and two sisters. Funeral services were held in Manchester, Conn.
