HOULTON – Jo-Ann Florence Dinsmore, a child of God, passed away peacefully on Nov. 23, 2004 in Houlton. She was born Dec. 26, 1959 in Austin, Texas, the daughter of Clayton and Ann (Stephens) Dinsmore. Jo-Ann was especially close to her brother, Mel. Time and distance couldn’t separate them. Visits and phone calls from Mel were the highpoints of Jo-Ann’s days. She will be sadly missed at Harmony and the Roger Randall Center. She endeared herself to all that knew her. Jo-Ann’s mischievous, playful personality and her wonderful sense of humor brightened the lives of many friends. Jo-Ann is survived by her brother, Melvaney Dinsmore of Rockland; and her sister, Arelinda McCluskey. Jo-Ann’s last days were eased by the loving devotion of her caregivers. The Hospice Team was a wonderful source of support for both Jo-Ann and her caregivers. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St, Houlton with the Rev. Jessie Drysdale officiating. Interment will be in the Gracelawn Memorial Park and Cemetery, Auburn.
