MONSON – John A. Sandberg, 80, died Nov. 27, 2005, at his home in Monson. He was born Oct. 12, 1925, in Monson, the son of Ryner and Florence (Carlberg) Sandberg. He was self-employed as a farmer and woodsman for most of his life. He is survived by four sons, Michael and his wife, Rose Sandberg, of New Hampshire, Ryner Sandberg of Guilford, Willie and his wife, Gail Sandberg, of Parkman and Peter Sandberg of Sangerville; a daughter, Kyla Sandberg of Massachusetts; two grandsons; one great-grandson; a sister, Bertha Witham of Bangor; nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak St., Guilford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Sangerville, with the Rev. Fr. Paul Pare officiating.
