STOCKTON SPRINGS – John “Al” Kuze, 90, died Oct. 16, 2003, at a Belfast hospital. He was born March 8, 1913, in Everett, Mass., the son of Simoen and Rosiland Kuze. He was employed with Unisys Office Equipment, Framingham, Mass., retiring in 1975 after 30 years of service, and moved to Stockton Springs in 1976. Al enjoyed his vegetable garden, playing cards with friends, and spending time outdoors. Al is survived by his wife of 58 years, Winona M. (Littlefield) Kuze; one daughter, Alayne Veno and husband, Dave, all of Stockton Springs. He was predeceased by a son, Vernon Kuze in 2002. Visitation for family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, at the Young Funeral Home, 31 West Main St. Searsport, where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. Arlin Larson officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Prospect.
