GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP John “JJ” Alexander Jervis, 67, died unexpectedly Nov. 21, 2007. He was born June 30, 1940, in Washington, D.C., the son of John A. and Frances Jervis. He was a retired union electrician from New Jersey, before moving to Maine to pursue his love for the Saint Bernard breed, which he showed, bred, raised and loved deeply for 19 years. He will be sadly missed by his four-legged friends, especially Shania, Sage and Samantha. John is survived by his wife, Jo Jervis; his daughter, Siobhan “Chevy” Jervis of Princeton; two sisters, Karen Sulock and her husband, Joseph, of Palmyra, N.J., and Ann Jervis of Bridgeton, N.J.; one brother, William Jervis and his wife, Kathy, of Arkansas; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Warner of Point Pleasant, N.J., and Gerri Ann Schear of Hillsboro, N.J.; one brother-in-law, Kevin and his partner, Judy, of Virginia; three grandchildren, Kelsey, Mike and Gabriel; one special nephew, Harold Warner of Point Pleasant, N.J.; along with several other nieces and nephews.
