BANGOR – John E. Connelly, 80, died April 27, 2004, at a Bangor healthcare facility. He was born May 4, 1923, in Bangor, the son of Edward and Jasmine (Brown) Connelly. John worked as a lineman for the Canadian Pacific Railroad. He is survived by two sisters, Mildred Spaulding of Bangor and Josephine Connelly of Connecticut; two nephews, Gary Spaulding of Levant and Leon Spaulding of Hermon. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2004, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor, with the Rev. Peter Sprague, pastor of the Columbia Street Baptist Church, officiating. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
