WOOLWICH – John Everette Rice, 56, a long-time resident of Woolwich, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at the Veterans Hospital in Togus. He was born May 7, 1948, in Portland, a son of Everette and Ruth Morrill Rice. He grew up in Woolwich and served in the Air Force. An actor and singer, he performed in many plays at the Chocolate Church in Bath. He was predeceased by a sister, Jean Demers. Survivors include a daughter, Angela Wagg and her husband, Thomas, of Westport Island; three nephews, a niece, and two grandchildren. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
