KENDUSKEAG – John F. Daigle Jr., 50, died peacefully July 25, 2008, surrounded by his family. He was born March 18, 1958, in Bangor, the son of John F. Daigle Sr. and Mildred M. (Sabine) Daigle. John enjoyed working for Maine Distributors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was predeceased by his father, in February 2008 and by his mother. Surviving are his wife, Carmen Daigle of Kenduskeag; three children, Nicole Morgan and her husband, Warren, of Old Town, and Amy Daigle and John “Tommy” Daigle, both of Kenduskeag; three stepchildren, Ashlee DeTour of Bangor, Kayli DeTour of Kenduskeag and Wesley DeTour of Bangor; two granddaughters, Amber and Sophia Morgan; two sisters, Susan G. Daigle and Katherine E. Daigle, both of Bangor; stepmother, Ida M. (Thayer) Daigle of Kenduskeag, stepbrother, Edward A. Small of Glenburn; and stepsister, Rhonda J. Bickmore of Kenduskeag. John had many close relatives and friends, and he was loved by them all. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of his life 2 p.m. Thursday, July 31, at Hermon Baptist Church with the Rev. Garnett Chute, pastor, officiating. After the service, folks are invited to join the family for conversation and refreshments in the church reception hall.
