ELLSWORTH – John H. Dorr, 59, died Jan. 1, 2008, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. He was born at the same Bangor hospital, Aug. 23, 1948, to Richard W. and Peggy (Harrington) Dorr. John graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1967 and was employed at High Street McDonalds for the past 19 plus years. In addition to his parents, he is survived by many relatives and friends. At John’s request, there will be no services. Interment will take place at a later date at Morse Family Cemetery, Cherryfield. Arrangements are under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
