PROSPECT – John H. Gordon, 68, died at a Bangor hospital on Nov. 17, 2003. He was born Dec. 14, 1934, in Newport, R.I. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and worked many years at Saccucci Lincoln and Ford Dealership in Middletown, R.I., as a mechanic. John was a member of the Searsport Full Gospel Church in Searsport. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (DeMello) Gordon of Prospect; two sons, Robert Rego and Joseph Rego, both of Prospect; one daughter, Lorna Greenwell of Tiverton, R.I.; five grandchildren, Adam and Becky Greenwell, Dorothy Rego, Daniel Bassnight, and Joshua Rego; three cousins, Norman Milltoning of Newport, R.I., Buddy Milltoning of Tiverton, R.I., and Vinny Reyes of Newport, R.I. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Thursday at the Searsport Full Gospel Church in Searsport, with Pastor Cliff Gall officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 p.m. until time of services. Donations in John’s memory may be made to the family 195 Hatch Rd. Prospect, ME 04981.
