BREWER and WALTHAM – John M. Jordan, 45, died unexpectedly Jan. 26, 2005, at his residence in Brewer. He was born Dec. 1, 1959, in Ellsworth, the eldest child of Marshall L. and Patsy Ann (Wilbur) Jordan. He graduated from Cave Hill School in Eastbrook as valedictorian of his class. In 1978 he graduated from Ellsworth High School where as a sophomore he was second in the state in the state wrestling meet. John was a Boy Scout and loved the outdoors. Formerly he was a heavy equipment operator for Elliott Jordan & Son, Inc., a logging company. John is survived by his parents; a brother, Duane Jordan and wife, Luann; a sister, Lisa Folmer and husband, Jerry; five nephews, Tony and Adam Jordan, Eric, Brad and Troy Folmer; a stepniece and stepnephew, April and Brian Jordan, all of Waltham. He is also survived by many, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Elliott and Marguerite Jordan; his maternal grandparents, Diggie and Arlene Wilbur; and a nephew, Keith Jordan. A special thanks to Sterling Arbo, Jr. for his care and concern for John for several years. Friends are invited to call 4-6 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 30, with Rev. Rolf A. Hellum officiating. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Waltham.
