CONNOR – John “Johnny” Ouellette Sr., 60, died Nov. 3, 2006, at his residence after a brief illness. He was born Sept. 24, 1946, in Fort Fairfield, the son of Clifford and Claire (Godin) Ouellette. He attended Connor and Caribou schools. Johnny was a self-employed auto body technician in Veazie and Caribou for a number of years. He was also employed as bus driver and custodian at Connor school and later with the housekeeping department at Cary Medical Center. He married Diana Cummings Jan. 10, 1983. John loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to four-wheel and camp with his family and was a member of the Molunkus Snowdrifters of Sherman. Surviving, in addition to his wife of Connor, is his son, John Ouellette Jr., also of Connor; one brother, Alphie Ouellette of Hamlin; three sisters, Gertrude Thibodeau of Caribou, Alvine Wade of Perth Andover, New Brunswick, and Pat Ross of Fort Fairfield; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Ouellette was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Rosaire; and a sister, Lucille Woods. Friends may visit with the family 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of services, which will be held 11 a.m. at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
