CALAIS – John W. Boudreau died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at Calais Regional Hospital. John was born April 26, 1950, in Calais, son of Madeline Boudreau. He owned and operated The Sandwich Man, Calais, for more than 30 years. John married Lina Kwee, Dec. 7, 1996, in Indonesia. He was a member of Calais Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. John enjoyed playing and watching baseball, preaching, traveling and was an avid Red Sox fan. He was predeceased by his mother, Madeline Boudreau Brocato. Surviving are his loving wife, Lina Boudreau of Calais; his father and mother-in-law, Aweng Pintau and Meiti Subekti; two sisters-in-law, Linda Wati and her husband, Hermanto, and Meilliwati Kwee; two brothers-in-law, Juni Putra and wife, Susilo Wati, and January Putra and wife, Rosida, all of Indonesia; his extended family, Charlie and Maxine Cookson of Baileyville, Richard and Virginia Shaffer of Baileyville, and Murray and Monika Hagler of Robbinston; many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Calais. Burial will take place in Indonesia. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais.
