TRENTON – Jonathan T. Dow, 19, died Jan. 22, 2004, in Trenton. He was born April 17, 1984, in Bar Harbor, the son of Alfred “Bunky” and Tammy (Levasseur) Dow. He graduated from MDI High School in 2003. Jonathan was a sports fanatic and played all sports in high school. He was a member of the American Legion Baseball League. He enjoyed being with his friends and playing with his chocolate lab “Buddy”. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Chelsea Dow of Trenton; paternal grandparents, Alfred and Dorothy Dow of West Tremont; maternal grandfather, O’Neil Levasseur of Naples, Fla.; maternal great-grandmother, Rita Masson of Lewiston; aunts and uncles, Becky and Gary O’Brien, Hancock, Cindy Thurston of Bar Harbor, Marc and Tammy Levasseur of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Irene Levasseur. Visitation hours will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at the Fernald Funeral Chapel, Mount Desert, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, with Pastor Scott Records officiating. Spring interment will be at Rich Cemetery, Tremont. The family suggests that if friends desire, they may make donations in Jonathan’s memory to the MDI Sports Booster Club in care of Wendy Littlefield, Box 180, Mt. Desert, ME 04660.
