BANGOR – Joseph Albert Parks, 96, died Jan. 24, 2005, at a Brewer healthcare center. He was born Dec. 10, 1908, in Bangor the son of Perley and Mary (McGuire) Parks. Joseph was employed as a custodian for the Bangor school department and was a communicant of St. John’s Catholic Church. He is survived by a niece, Marjorie Howes of New Canaan, Conn.; a sister-in-law, Grace Parks of Hampden; a cousin, Ronald Kittredge of Brewer. He was predeceased by a sister and a brother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, at St. Jude Chapel, St. John’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Richard C. McLaughlin, pastor, celebrant. A committal service will be held in the Spring, at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, at a date to be announced. Arrangements by Foley Funeral Service.
