FORT KENT – Joseph “Bea” Caron, 77, died peacefully May 30, 2007, at a Fort Kent health care facility. He was born July 29, 1929, in Fort Kent, the son of Friol and Leona (Dubay) Caron. Joseph was a member of the VFW Lozier O’Grady Post No. 9609 of Fort Kent. He will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by one brother, Alberic Caron and his wife, Patricia, of Fort Kent; four sisters, Mary Boutot of Water-bury, Conn., Irene and her husband, Norman Boutot, of Fort Kent, Gilda and her husband, Conrad St. John, of St. Francis, and Patsy and her husband, Hector Daigle, of Pittsfield; many nieces, nephews. and cousins. In addition to both parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Zenon, Alva, and Oram Caron; and five sisters, Yvonne, Jeannette, Leone, Lorene, and Bernice. Friends may call 9 a.m. Monday until time of service at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial with full military honors will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Burial will be held at a later date at the Veterans’ Cemetery, Caribou.
