LINCOLN – Joseph D. Corro, 89, husband of the late Mary (McNamara) Corro, died Dec. 11, 2005, at his home. He was born March 15, 1916, in Lincoln, the son of George and Bridget (Rice) Corro. Joe was a lifelong, daily communicant of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was retired from the Lincoln pulp and paper mill. He enjoyed building projects and took pride in knowing the genealogy of Lincoln families. He is survived by a son, Daniel Corro and his wife, Robin Feigelis, of Park Ridge, N.J.; a daughter, Josephine M. Corro and her husband, John DiMiceli, of Newton, Mass.; a stepdaughter, Pauline St. Peter of Greenbush; and two grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Mary, he was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie Corro; and a brother, Fredrick Corro. Friends may call from 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, with the Rev. Myles Cyr presiding. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
