BANGOR – Joseph G. Gagne, 53, died unexpectedly July 12, 2004. He was born Jan. 1, 1951, in Bangor, the son of George Gagne and Dorothy Hichborn. Joseph loved anything to do with the outdoors. He was a tournament Bass fisherman, avid biker, and enjoyed camping. Joseph also enjoyed building stock cars, and was part owner of Serenity Power Plus in Brewer. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Hichborn; brother, William A. Gagne and his wife, Bonnie; half sister, June Hughes; half brothers, Carlton Gagne and Kenneth Gagne; special friend, Ruby Christiansen; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2004, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Adam Soderberg, pastor of the East Orrington Congregational Church, officiating. A graveside committal service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2004, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor.
