OAKFIELD – Joseph H. Dickinson Jr., 77, died on July 2, 2004. He was born Oct. 14, 1926, in Mt. Cisco, N.Y., the son of Joseph Sr. and Genevieve (Hogan) Dickinson. Joseph was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He is survived by one daughter, Lucille Dickinson of Island Falls; five sons, James and his wife, Linda Dickinson, of Oakfield, Ronald Dickinson of Pennsylvania, Robert and his wife, Martha Dickinson, Larry and his wife, Dee Dickinson, and Peter and his wife, Bev Dickinson, all of Oakfield; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; and one grandson. Friends may call 9-10 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 2004, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Andy Harthorne officiating.
