CARIBOU – Joseph Lindy Corriveau, 77, died March 28, 2005, at Caribou. He was born Feb. 23, 1928, in Fort Kent, the son of Baptiste and Julia (Raymond) Corriveau. Mr. Corriveau served with the U.S. Air Force during World War II and was employed by Millers Department Store in Caribou for many years. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He married Eldora (Dow) Corriveau Sept. 18, 1953. Surviving in addition to his wife of over 51 years, Eldora of Caribou, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Sheri Corriveau of Chelsea, and Timothy and Laurie Corriveau, of Presque Isle; four daughters and two sons-in- law, Bonnie and Galen Sanfacon of Caribou, Valarie Corriveau of Searsmont, Cindy and Keith Miller of Newburg, and Ellie Corriveau and her fianc?, Troy Lagasse, of Caribou; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Frances Langley of Caribou, Florence Newbegin of Berlin, Pa., and Shirley and Bruce Landford of Morrow, Ga.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; three special friends, Pearl, Penny, and Wanda. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2005, from the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home with the Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, officiating. Interment will be in the Old Holy Rosary Cemetery.
