BANGOR – Juanita May (Lambert) McLaughlin, 81, died Feb. 25, 2008, at her home, in the presence of loved ones. She was born July 15, 1926, in Brewer, the daughter of Calvin T. and Beatrice E. (Peters) Lambert. Juanita was one of eight children. She spent many years as mother and homemaker to her nine children. She also worked for Freese’s department store and Downeast Elementary School. Juanita was a social person enjoying the company of friends, playing bingo and participating in the Bangor Senior Citizens Club. She especially loved spending time with her family including her cat, Cuddles. Her gentle kindness warmed our hearts, her strength inspired us and her humor always made us smile. She was predeceased by her parents, four siblings; and her son, Gary. She will be sadly missed by her four sons, Bill, Steve, Allen and Geno; four daughters, Kelly, Deborah, Wanda and Betty; 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins; three siblings, Eugene, Donald and Beatrice. Family and friends are invited to visit 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, Brewer, will be in the spring.
