WAYNESBORO, Va. Juanita M.G. Thomas, 69, of 2430 Hermitage Road, passed away Monday evening, Nov. 13, 2006, at her residence after a battle with ovarian cancer. Mrs. Thomas was born July 13, 1937, in Centerville, New Brunswick, the daughter of the late Fred Reid and Marion Antworth Reid. She attended Blue Ridge Church of Christ. She was active in the churches she attended over the years, particularly taking meals to people and sending cards. She adored her grandchildren and loved being with them. Survivors include her husband, Ralph Thomas; two sons, Kevin Thomas and his wife, Jane, of Cape Elizabeth, Alan Thomas and his wife, Joan, of Waynesboro; one daughter, Daphne Thomas and Patrick Kelly of Manchester, N.H.; one brother, Kenneth Reid and his wife, Shirley, of Woodstock, New Brunswick; grandchildren, Matthew and Melissa Thomas, Sean, Jack and Andrew Thomas. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at Blue Ridge Church of Christ with Pastor Todd Brown. Burial will be held at a later date in Canada. Reynolds Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
