HERMON – Judith Poole, 68, died Jan. 29, 2008. She was born June 20, 1939, the daughter of Roland and Evelyn Crooker. She attended Brewer High School. Judy was an avid animal lover. She was a member of the Calais and Hampden VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are three children, Kimberly Poole, Linda Tracy and her husband, Vaughn, Roland Babin and his wife, Sharon; grandchildren, April, Keith, Melissa, Nikki, Thomas, Megan and Emily; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Roland Crooker and his wife, Shirley; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and friends, including two lifelong friends, Elaine Cooper and Elsie Chapman. She was predeceased by her husband, Guy “Pappy” Poole; her former husband, Leo Babin; and two infant children. The family thanks the staff at Brewer Rehab. and Hospice of Eastern Maine, for their loving care and support. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at St. John’s Catholic Church, York Street, Bangor. Donations in memory of Judy may be sent to Eastern Maine Charities, Diabetes Fund, P.O.
