ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. Judith G. “Judy” Carter, 57, of St. Petersburg, Fla., died Sunday, May 8, 2005, at St. Petersburg General Hospital. She was born in Bangor and moved to St. Petersburg in 1989 from Glenburn. She was a homemaker, raising five children. She was a second mom to many of their friends, who knew her door was always open and were always welcomed with love in her home. She managed Barcardia Campground in Bar Harbor for 12 years. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and countless friends whom she considered family as well. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Bruce R.; three sons, Bruce R. II and his wife, Paula, of Howland, Wayne and his wife, Carol, of Glenburn, and Edward of Ellsworth; two daughters, Catherine and Jerry of Oldsmar, Fla., Lorraine and her husband, Rick, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; her mother, Margaret Waddell of Clovis, N.M.; one brother, Clyde Waddell of Waldorf, Md.; two sisters, Katina Campbell of Biddeford; Alice Marshall of Clovis, N.M.; 11 grandchildren, Kyle, JR, John, Josh, RJ, Josef, Amanda, Bryce, Reece, Adell, and Paige. She will also be sadly missed by close friends, Nancy and Bob Wood. Services will be private. Friends and family are invited to a gathering 1 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at the Bangor Grange Hall on the corner of Ohio Street and Finson Road.
