BAILEYVILLE and HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Judy (Sears) McKeeby, 52, died at the Calais Regional Hospital Wednesday, April 6, 2005. She was born July 1, 1952, the daughter of Dr. H. Gordon and Marilyn (Harriman) Sears. Judy attended Woodland High School and Gould Academy in Bethel, where she graduated. She furthered her education at Westbrook School of Nursing, earning her Bachelor’s in Nursing. Judy worked as a registered nurse for some time while living in New Jersey. She loved visiting with her family in Meddybemps and enjoyed spending time boating and vacationing with her husband on Lake George, N.Y. and Meddybemps Lake. Judy was a very caring and giving person who always put the needs of others before her own. All who loved her will sadly miss her. The family’s thanks go out to all who kept her in their thoughts while she spent the last few years of her life at Atlantic Rehab & Nursing Facility in Calais, with special thanks to the staff. Judy was predeceased by her husband, Michael McKeeby and her parents, Dr. Gordon and Marilyn (Harriman) Sears. Judy’s love was her nieces and nephews, Heather, Missi, Gina, Ben, Jen, Alicia, and Tim, for whom she would give the world. She is survived by her brothers, Rick and wife, Patti Sears, of Grand Lake Stream, Peter and Karen Sears of Dade City, Fla., and Ken and Myra Sears of Baileyville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. A spring burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Baileyville.
