CANTONMENT, Fla. – Judy Wyman Davidson passed away Aug. 13, 2005, after a sudden illness in Pensacola, Fla., at her place of employment. She was predeceased by her father, Harold Wyman, of Bangor. Judy attended early school years in Bangor and Brewer, graduating from high school in Manchester, Conn. She graduated from nursing school in Winthop, Mass., and developed a love for working with the elderly and the acute ill. Her life was devoted to caring for those unable to care for themselves. Judy and her husband moved to Cantonment, Fla., in 1988. At the time of her death, Judy was employed by Baptist Manor Nursing Home. Judy was an expert in wound care and has a degree in that. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Stephen; daughter, Tina Davidson and lifelong companion, Kevin Rocray; daughter, Tracy Davidson Blount and husband, Mark; son, Joseph Davidson and wife, Jennifer; and grandchildren, Kassie Davidson, Emily Davidson, Justin Blount; her mother, Louise Wyman; sister Becky DuVal and her husband, Bob; sister, Peggy Wyman Hobden and husband, Bill; and numerous aunts and cousins. A memorial service was held at the Baptist Manor Nursing Home Chapel with the pastor of Gonzalez United Methodist Church, Riley Richardson officiating.
