BANGOR – Julia M. Gerick, 86, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 27, 1919, in Brewer, the daughter of Harold and Alta (Vickery) Estes. Julia was a graduate of Brewer High School, worked a number of years at the Bangor Credit Bureau and worked for Footman’s Dairy for many years. She was a member of the Brewer Eagles Club Aerie No. 3177 for more than 20 years, was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed horse racing. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Albin Gerick of Bangor; a son, Gerald Parady Sr. and his wife, Judith, of Hampden; grandson, Gerald Parady Jr. of Hampden; grandson, Lawrence Parady of Mifflinburg, Pa.; granddaughter, Lisa Ouellette and her husband, Gerry, of Hampden; granddaughter, Jennifer Bedard and her husband, Tim, of Kansas City, Mo.; great-grandchildren, Adam and Katrina Ouellette and Dylan, Ryan and Jordan Bedard. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence Parady; and sisters, June Philbrook, Maxine Fournier and Barbara Russell. She will be missed by good friends, Buddy and Arleen Greenough of Canada. Friends are welcome to call 1-2 p.m. Friday, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m., with the Rev. Roland Nadeau, chaplain of St. Joseph Hospital, officiating. Interment will be in the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery, Augusta. Gifts in Julia’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Healthcare, P.O.
