OLD TOWN and STILLWATER Julie L. Hicks, 38, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Nov. 15, 1965, in Bangor, the daughter of Alan P. and Betty A. (Currier) Thurston. Julie was a devoted loving mother to her three daughters and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and was a cheering coach for eight years for the Police Athletic League. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Tony Hicks of Old Town; three daughters, Nicole, Ashly and Chantal; sister, Lori Osnoe and her husband, Tim, and their daughter, Morgan of Glenburn; several aunts and uncles. A memorial mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Parish in Old Town, with the Rev. Normand Richard celebrant. Committal will be held at Lawndale Cemetery immediately following the mass. Friends and family are invited to the Holy Family Parish Hall for a luncheon and continued fellowship following the burial.
