CARIBOU – June Jacqueline Cook, 79, wife of the late Ralph Cook, died Feb. 6, 2004, at Caribou. She was born May 14, 1924, in Connor, the daughter of Thomas and Viola (Thompson) Haney. Mrs. Cook was employed by the Maine Bag Co., Cyr Brothers and was a cook for the Caribou School Dept. for a number of years. She was a member of the Gray Memorial United Methodist Church. She married Ralph E. Cook in 1947, and he predeceased her in 1992. She is survived by one sister, Martha McNeal of New Sweden; a sister-in-law, Tillie Haney of Rutland, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cook was predeceased by a number of brothers and sisters. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at the Gray Memorial United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Lynne Josselyn, pastor officiating. Interment will be in the New Sweden Cemetery.
