RAYMOND – Harold L. Larson, 74, of Thomas Pond Terrace, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at his home. Born in Stockholm, he was a son of Albin V. and Pearle K. Burns Larson. He was a 1948 graduate of Houlton High School and attended Ricker College. Mr. Larson retired from the Maine Army National Guard in 1984 as a Lieutenant Colonel. He had also been an insurance adjuster for the Fireman’s Fund. He was a member of the National Guard Association and an avid sports fan. Surviving him are his stepmother, Marion Larson of Houlton; one sister, Dorene L. MacIlroy; and one brother, Kenneth C. Larson, both of Houlton; half brothers, Robert of Florida, Larry, Rodney and David, all of Houlton; half sisters, Linda Fitzpatrick and Joan McAtee, both of Houlton; a stepsister, Barbara Spellman of Houlton; and his great friend and neighbor, Brian Judkins of Raymond. A graveside service and interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton, will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests contributions be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dolby Funeral Chapel, Windham.
