CALAIS – Karen Lea Bagley, 41, went to be with her little angel, Matthew, Oct. 25, 2007. Karen was born Aug. 30, 1966, in Calais. She was employed at Walmart and Dunkin’ Donuts. On Oct. 6, 2001, she married William Bagley. Karen supported the United Way and other various organizations for children with special needs. She enjoyed swimming, cooking, camping and spending time with her family. Karen was looking forward to her three expected grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Matthew Bagley; her twin sister, Sharon Lea Williams; and her grandparents, Herbert and Clara Brown. Surviving are her husband, Will Bagley of Calais; two daughters, Amanda Lane and her husband, Willard, of Red Beach and Ashleigh Bagley and her companion, Jaeramie Doten, of Calais; her mother, Georgie Duchaine and her husband, Marcel, of Princeton; a brother, Frederick Williams and his wife, Nicole, of Florida; eight grandchildren, Matthew Zoey, William “Jordan,” Morgan, Alex, Kira, Kim, Mike and Clara; her mother and father-in-law, Michele and George Bagley; and all her furry critter companions. A celebration of Karen’s life will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Church Street, Calais.
