ARUNDEL – Katherine Grace Knight, 58, formerly of the Log Cabin Road, died Sunday evening at St. Andre’s Healthcare Facility in Biddeford. She was born Jan. 24, 1947, a daughter of William and Shirlie (Bowden) Knight in Bangor. As a girl, she attended schools in Bangor and later graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a bachelors degree in English. She worked for 10 years at Sam’s Club as a retail manager. Recently she was self- employed. Katherine enjoyed poetry, listening to music, reading and crocheting. She is survived by her father, William of Bangor; a son, Alex Brooker of Biddeford; two daughters, Sara White of Saco and Myra Brooker of Old Orchard Beach; a sister, Joanne Welch of Bangor; and four grandchildren, Nicholas White, Emily Brooker, James Meehan and Casey White. Services will be private amongst the family at a later date. Arrangements are by Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main St., Saco.
