BREWER and BRIDGEWATER – Katherine “Lois” Robinson, 92, wife for 70 years of Harold Robinson, died April 10, 2007, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Sept. 20, 1914, in Perry, the daughter of Stephen and Louise (Pottle) Mahar. Lois was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for more than 50 years. She traveled extensively with her husband for many years but their favorite area, of the entire world, was Aroostook County. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Harold “Robbie” Robinson and Jan of Brewer and Donald Robinson and Patricia of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Alice M. Mahar of Portland; one brother, Charles F. Mahar of Green Valley, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Ellie Mahar; seven grandchildren, Gary, Darren, Robie and Richard Robinson, Debbie Durham, Karen Butts and Tina Warren; six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Richard Robinson; two brothers, Kenneth and Vade Mahar. Graveside services will be held this spring at Smith Cemetery, Bridgewater. Arrangements by Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Mars Hill.
