PATTEN – Katherine Plecs, 84, died May 26, 2004, at Houlton. She was born March 28, 1920, in Garfield N.J., the daughter of Steven and Rose (Pallog) Kolek. Katherine is survived by three children, Robert and his wife, Elaine Plecs, of Ledgard, Conn. and their two children, Laura and her husband, Paul Morrison and their daughter, Danielle, and Jennifer Plecs; Carol Plecs and Ron Plecs of Patten; one sister, Margaret Baron of Garfield, N.J.; one brother, Louis Kolek of Creskill, N.J.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A private funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2004, in the St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Patten with Father Eddy Morin celebrant. Interment will be in the Patten Cemetery. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
