ORONO – Kathleen Joan Baker, 60, died peacefully July 30, 2006, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born Oct. 15, 1945, in Bangor, a daughter of Raymond J. and Mary T. (Leavitt) Baker. She is survived by sister, Mary Ellen White and her husband, Ronald; brother, Raymond F. Baker and his wife, Susan; 13 nieces and nephews, Barry King, Tonia Haines and Carol Trottier, Bruce and Rose King, Jeffrey and Mel King, Peter and Karen White, Steve and Cindy Parady, Pam and Mike Bush, Kim Parady, Jan and Mike Carroll, Scott Parady, Marc Baker, Maria and Frank Perry, Aimee and Rudy Nadler; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kori, Ryan, Amy, Wayne, Jesse, Angela, Ben, Pat, Sean, Tia, Katie, Sam, Sarah, Molly, Dylan, Mia, Sarah, Cullan, Tallie, Kyle, and Nicole; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Skyler, Kaitlynn, Kayla, Emma, Jack, Eli, Bridgette, and Cassidy; a special friend and caregiver, Leslie Peterson; and special friend, Taylor. She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Mary Baker; a sister, Betty Parady; and a brother-in-law, Bernard Parady. A celebration of her life will be conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, with the Rev. Bill Labbe officiating.
