SACO – Kathleen Marie Magee died Jan. 22, 2006. She was born March 9, 1952. We write this in memory of Kathy, who we loved unconditionally for the past 35 years. With a single call we were told of Kathy’s death, which left many in disbelief and such an inner loss within our own souls. Unfortunately we had not heard from Kathy during the last five years, but she remained close to our hearts and so often in our thoughts. Those who knew Kathy were the better for it. She was always fun with a little mischief. She would be your friend no matter what the cost to herself. When she was 15 years old, she came to live with the family of Doyle and Donna Sanders. She became the seventh child that lived in the house full of daily chores, homework and lived by the everyday standards we all were accustomed to. As Kathy grew up with us, we saw her mature into a beautiful woman, whose heart was so full for others, being around her was always so much fun. At times you never knew what was coming around the corner from her. She was a light in a darker room for many of us. Kathy worked for 15 years for BMHI and all who knew her were better people for doing so. We are having a remembrance ceremony 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at St. John’s Church, for those who would like some closure in their lives over the sudden death of Kathy. Please come and offer some stories about the great times that we had with this special person.
