MILBRIDGE, BANGOR and FRANKLIN SQUARE, N.Y. Kathryn H. (Wallace) Griffin, 93, died peacefully March 5, 2008, at a Franklin Square, N.Y hospital. She was born Aug. 16, 1914, in Milbridge, the daughter of Capt. Alonzo Wallace and Marjorie (Strout) Wallace. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Mardelle E. Griffin of Milbridge, Feb. 25, 2001; and bro-ther, Carroll N. Wallace. She is survived by and will be sadly missed by a son, Austin Griffin and his wife, Kim, of The Villages, Fla.; a daughter, Mar-jorie Botsch and her husband, Edward, of Franklin Square, N.Y., three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one brother, Robert Wallace and his wife, Margaret, of Hallowell; a sister, Lorna Strout of Brewer; a sister, Marjorie Hand and husband, Bud, of Belfast; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The services will be private. As per her wishes, she will be interred by her husband at Veterans’ Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
