GRAND ISLE – Kathy Guerrette, 47, passed away July 26, 2008, at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born Nov. 21, 1960, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Lucien and Rolande (Cote) Guerrette. She is survived by her parents of Grand Isle; three brothers, Lucien “June” Guerrette and his wife, Sharon, of Frenchville, Micheal Guerrette and his wife, Diane, of Madawaska and Kevin Guerrette and his wife, Sylvie, of St. David; two nephews, Derek Guerrette of Madawaska and Steve Guerrette of Richmond; her godparents, Christian and Carmen Guerrette of Frenchville; many uncles and aunts. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Gerard Church, Grand Isle. Friends and family may call 9 a.m. Thursday until time of service at the church. Interment will be at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kathy’s memory may be made to Borderview Nursing Home, 208 State St., Van Buren, ME 04785. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daigle Funeral Home, Madawaska.
