HARRINGTON – Kathy J. Seavey, 47, of Harrington died Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at a Bangor hospital after a sudden illness. She was born March 2, 1959, in Bangor, the daughter of the late Frank H. and Phyllis E. (Chick) Sawyer. Mrs. Seavey attended Ellsworth schools. In recent years she had enjoyed cleaning private residences for several families in Southwest Harbor. She enjoyed going to flea markets. Most of all she enjoyed time with her family and friends. She shared 27 years of marriage with Robert D. Seavey. In addition to her husband, family members include three daughters, Eva Seavey and companion, Willie Pinkham, of Milbridge, Laurie Seavey and her companion, Angel Vallespi, of Harrington, Jenny Seavey and her companion, Matt McLain, of Steuben; a very special granddaughter, Carly Jean Pinkham of Milbridge, and an expected granddaughter whom she was ready to greet with open arms, Kiara Star Vallespi; a stepdaughter, Lisa Seavey of Biddeford, and a stepson, Robert Seavey Jr. of Saco; four stepgranddaughters, her siblings, Donald Sawyer, Sharon Boynton and her husband, Harold, Kenny Sawyer and his wife, Terri, Brenda Collins and husband, Tom, all of Ellsworth, Chryle Seavey and companion, Paul Sylvia, of Eastbrook, Joan Lindsey and husband, Sanford, and Yvonne Sawyer and companion, Curtis Johnson, all of Surry, Sylvia Dostie and her husband, Andy of Limerick, Ronald Abbott and his wife, Jill, of Amherst, Linda Ryan and her husband, Roger, Donna Morse and husband, Richard, all of Belmont, Herbie Sawyer and wife, Donna, of Steuben, several nieces, nephews and cousins; also survived by a special nephew, Terry Wade Preble of Sullivan, and special sister-in-law, Aunt Lou of Columbia. She is also survived by her two canine companions, Tara Jane and Little Bill. She was predeceased by her infant brother, Thomas Sawyer; a niece and very special friend, Diane Seavey. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Faith Bible Church, Back Bay Road, Milbridge. If desired, donations may be made to the family in the time of need, care of Eva Seavey, P.O.
