HOULTON – Kenneth D. Britton, 50, died Feb. 15, 2006, at his residence. He was born Oct. 8, 1955, in Houlton, the son of Charles F. and Alfreda M. (Nason) Britton. Ken attended Houlton schools and was a graduate of Houlton High School, Class of 1975. He was sexton of Evergreen Cemetery and had worked for the town of Houlton since 1978. He is survived by five brothers, David Britton and Glenda of Smyrna, Rodney Britton and his wife, Nancy, of Houlton, Douglas Britton of Bangor, Mike Britton and his wife, Denise, of Ludlow, Mark Britton and Evelyn of Houlton; three sisters, Linda Nixon and her husband, Don, of Bethlehem, Pa., Debra Shaw and her husband, Michael, of Saco, Diane Stovar and Marty of Trafford, Pa.; a special co-worker and friend, Ralph Boyton; several uncles, aunt, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call 11 a.m. Saturday, until the time of service 1 p.m. at the Dunn Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Tuttle, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
