CALAIS – Kenneth L. Johnson, 52, died unexpectedly July 1, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1954, in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, the son of Reed A. Johnson and Priscilla R. (Caswell) Johnson. He was a graduate of Calais High School, where he was well known as a great baseball player. Kenneth served three years in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Kenneth also enjoyed hunting and horseshoeing. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Surviving are his dad, Reed and his friend, Muriel; one son, Tobias Johnson and his girlfriend, Teresa; two brothers, Dale Johnson and his wife, Judy, and Dana Johnson and his wife, Melissa; one nephew, Joseph Johnson and his wife, Kristen; one niece, Kaylee Johnson; several aunts, uncles and cousins; a very special friend, Nancy Lucas; his beloved dog, Cosgrove “Cosmo” and many great friends. A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held noon Saturday, July 7, at 201 Carson Road, Calais, with Pastor Bob Hinton officiating.
